The
show ELEANOR IN ARTHURDALE, written by
Judith Brussell an award winning writer from Washington, D.C., combines
actors, marionettes and hand puppets to tell the story of First Lady
Eleanor Roosevelt.
The show follows Mrs. Roosevelt's endeavors as a young
woman in the early 1900s, as she finds her voice as an activist in
the 1920s, and her experience in Washington, D.C., and West Virginia
as she helped establish the first New Deal homestead community in 1934.
